Will upload some pics tonight. Bean starts Tball tonight, I have 2 tests to get out of the way by Sunday and I have begun packing for Spring Break 09!

Not much
Not much going on...this weekend we are headed to MD to celebrate our anniversary without the kiddos....we are staying here and eating here.
I think I have finally figured out that I don't sleep well when plans are in motion. I tossed and turned all night with thing running through my head of stuff to be done for this weekend and in 2 weeks our trip to AZ for Spring Break. I am getting better though...( I think!)
Bean has a new picture he took a picture of that I will post tonite...after I figure out what it is!
Cat has her first diorama project...she has picked Penguins, should be interesting!
On a Spring note, I weeded the flower beds yesterday, in expectation of new ones to come and I brought out my white "Chanel" purse that I got in NY.

So yesterday was Cats birthday. What a weekend......
First on Friday, I took cupcakes to her school for her class. Of course, by the time I got there, they had fallen over and I had frosting in my hair, clothes, my car and of course with sprinkles on top! Her teacher said the kids wouldn't care...but I was bummed.
Saturday, we had her basketball game (they won 14-4, and she actually participated! Usually she's an observer), then we took her to Target to pick out her present from us...a bike. She had seen my list of to dos, so the surprise was kinda ruined. We then went home for showers and quick naps. Our plan was to meet our neighbors at Chuck E Cheese. I had my coupons all ready to go and we get there and they are at capacity. No more tables, no more room. I guess when it rains in our town everyone goes to CEC. Plan B, go to an indoor inflatable/arcade play place....same situation..no room, no where to sit. Plan C. Good old McDonalds. Of course, we rarely go out for breakfast, so for her bday, we went out to breakfast...at McDonalds! So I am on a detox diet today...too much grease! Of course the day couldn't be complete without an injury....the neighbors boy got punched in the face simply because he told a kid to go down the slide, not up it. So that ended our "party"...I also didnt get any pictures....poor Cat will be traumatized that her mom didn't take one picture of her 8th bday.
It's still raining here....rain, sun, rain, sun. Gotta love the south. This weeek is our 10 yr anniversary (still looking for the ring!), but we are celebtrating next week in MD.

Weekend
Had a good weekend. Saturday I watched a neighbors baby; I think Cat and Bean have second thoughts about another baby in the house for sure!
Sunday we went to church and after we went to the Outlets (still searching for watches and ring for our anniversary). It was a beautiful day and the kids even behaved...and of course, had to have some Cracker Barrel!
This week is Cat's birthday and 3 basketball games...

25 Random Things
Haven't updated in awhile, because not a lot going on. Just waiting on colder weather...so I thought I would do the 25 Random Things that have been going around Facebook and Blogs.
1. I can't sleep with any noise or light
2. I set my alarm for 6 am, and usually don't get up until 640 (drives N nuts)
3. I don't think my sister, Les and I look alike; even though everyone else does!
4. I wish I had known my Grandpas
5. My 6th great grandfather wrote the music to Silent Night ( I remind N of it every Christmas)
6. I have a slight obesession with Faith Hill
7. My mother has passed her love of bling on to me and my sisters....
8. I used to "play" clarinet
9. I was in the Flag line in HS and went to the Rose Bowl
10. I still talk to some of my middle school friends
11. Top Gun is my favorite movie
12. Purple is my favorite color, and my Gma always sends me purple cards
13. I love that my kids have grandparents galore that love them
14. In 15 days, I will have been married for 10 years
15. I love desserts...too much sometimes
16. My daughter looks like me, but my son has my temperment
17. I don't think I could have lasted being a stay at home mom, my part time job is perfect
18. I want to travel the world some day; France, Germany, Italy, Australia
19. My dream job would be Faith Hill's assistant or a Supreme Court Judge (extreme difference, no?)
20. It drives me nuts when people call me Susan or tell me how tall I am
21. I want a weiner dog, but N says no...boo
22. I once left nail polish remover on the coffee table and it melted the finish and I blamed it on my sister....sorry Les. Mom it was me
23. I played an April Fools Day joke on my Mom that I had been in a bike accident, she didn't find it amusing...
24. One time when we were serving dinner to homeless people in AZ, they had to drag me away, I didn't want to stop, I felt so sorry for them
25. I love old men....the way they look, walk....I think it's so cute!

Midterms and Rainbows
Not much went on this weekend. Cat had a basketball game, did some grocery shopping and hung out at home. Lots of rain and wind this weekend too. We were stuck at home because of the weather on Sunday; so cleaning and homework ensued. Ran outside and took a picture of this rainbow; I played around with the contrast and brightness so the rainbow could be seen better.
Snow is at 30% for tomorrow; really hope the kids don't have a snow day!
