January; Bought Holly the Highlander

February; Went to NY to celebrate Friends bday; came back early, she got sick

March; 10 year Anniversary! Went to nice hotel, dinner and got a rockin rock!

April; Went to AZ to see my family for Spring Break

May; No Doubt concert.....fun, fun!

June; Keith Urban concert...I may or may have touched his shoulder ;)

July; Went to Ocean City with the gang...great trip, long ride home

August; Went to Myrtle Beach with fam for last trip before school started

September; School started again...Math..blech (did get my A though!)

October; Birthday! Nice dinner, surprise cake party w/ gang, went to State Fair and had chocolate covered bacon (not so yummy), deep fried snickers (yum-o)

November; Thanksgiving/Christmas with the inlaws...Chocolate Pecan Pie (yum-o)

December; Christmas in TX

Geesh...what a year! 2010 is going be interesting as well....2 more big trips, more changes for us as N is getting to the next stage in the Life O' Air Force as well!

So.far.behind

I am so far behind...I'm just gonna go backwards!

This past weekend, we stayed the New Years weekend with our neighborhood gang in Ashville at a cool cabin out there. We got back Sunday afternoon. This week has started Bean's basketball practices and my online Math class has started as well. We are fully back in the swing of things! Also to travel back with us is a cold...I have it, N has it and Cat has a small cough, but the kids seem to be for the most part not getting it. Now I just have to get the house is somewhat order, drive me nutso when it's all in a tizzy....

Soup or Pie?

Last nite I was all Betty Homemaker and made a pumpkin pie...

it was supposed to be this:

But came out like this:

Even the whipped cream in a can, was all soupy...what in the world! Oh well, I still ate it and N said it was good, just gooey.

My Math final is tomorrow nite, hopefully I can maintain my A after that! Couple of errands to run before Sun and then off for Christmas Vacation.....a lot coming up as well. Trips in January, February, April, and July....geesh!

Things I am thankful for....humorous holiday edition

1. That Zhu Zhu pets are in fact not toxic and a certain little girl will be able to enjoy the 2 pets, 1 hamster bed/carrier, 2 tutus and a hamster house come Christmas morning....rather than a certain mother trying to figure out another use for said items since the certain little girls college education was spent in trying to gather such items






2. That I had extra Christmas cards laying around as I got an unexpected one today...although I did not check off to whom I sent Christmas cards to; so it's a grab bag to see who ends up with one, two or none!

3. That I have 3 Math classes left until a break; a short one, but a break nonetheless

4. That the kids enjoy the little neighborhood errands I send them on....without knowing the reason I do it is to have 5 more minutes of peace and they achieve some sort of exercise

5. That the kids' bus driver has not scratched us off as one of her stops, as the kids; may or may not have to run outside just in the nick of time to catch her every.single.morning....hopefully the Starbuck's gift card at Christmas will make up for it

6. That I was able to eat at IHOP twice this past weekend and not gain an ounce...it's true!
Eggnog pancakes and Pumpkin pancakes are awesome

7. That I was able to locate a new lip product that I have been on the hunt for....it's the little things I tell you...bought 2 to try...$3 a pop and seem to be in every magazine I read




This week we have N's Christmas party (fashion show dress to make an appearance) and a surprise going away,

Bad Girl, very bad girl

Here it is....finally~An Update!

Let's see Myrtle Beach was fun...did the beach, waterpark, Medieval Times (Cat cried, then got a flower; made it all better), Bean wants to be a knight now.

Quick Recap; someone may have put the wrong destination address in the GPS, rained both there and the way home, Bean locked my purse in the hotel safe, our room was over the indoor pool w/ loud kids, Hurricane Bill prevented us from swimming in the ocean, Bean told me he farted, then asked if I smelt it...all in all a great time!









Got back and school is in session...




I thought I started a Math class tonight, but nope it started yesterday! eek! I am going to call tomorrow and see if I can still be in the class; this is why I take online classes!

Cat has the teacher of the year from last year and Bean has Cats teacher, so we were excited about that. They both had good days; hope it continues.

Cat said something that made us laugh the other day, she was talking to one of her friends and she said, "Can I hang up now?" Too funny...I'm going to start using that one!

On tap for this week is hopefully my math class, I have a full day Bio lab on Saturday too.

N and I also joined the 20th century and got blackberries(y?)s...been messin around with it, avoiding homework!

All Play and a little work?

So this week has been a doozy. Monday, my Biology class started; I have to read 4 chapters and take a test by Sunday, I have already read my book for book report though!

Cat got a hair cut for school; again I have to take pictures to post....she looks so old!

Tonight is Open House at the kids' school and tomorrow morning after I get one more textbook, Cat has her physical and we are off to the beach! Both Nathan and I have work to do while we're there, well I do, he has a draft...not sure if that is considered work. ;)

It's a snake! or not

My flower pot has once again been a home for another creature....

This was my first view and I took it upon myself to announce to the family that we had a snake.

Then the animal specialist, errr, sound mind, N came to the resuce and found legs on such creature!

Honestly though, not a fan of these snake looking creatures...even Cat said that lizard was not a very pretty color.

On tap for the rest of the week; getting ready for a work party for N, although he tells me I don't have to lift a finger, I am a little crazy like helpful, so I am getting stuff for that and then next week is another VBS for the kids and a friends bday. We are going out to dinner Tuesday, then Friday to see The Ugly Truth and dinner while the men watch the kids...my goal is while the kids are at VBS next week to s.l.o.w.l.y clean the garage....anyone need a entertainment center? grill? blazer? I'm your gal!

I would like to wish my Mom a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY~ Love you! (What? You're turning 40!)

Conversation w/ Cat this morning

Cat-"Mom, you know how if you point your middle finger it's bad?"
Me-"Yes, why?"
Cat-"Is it bad to point my middle toe too?"

This morning it was foggy and Cat said, " Look it's froggy!"

I can't make this stuff up!

I am currently researching SLR cameras, I would like to get one soon, I'm becoming more interested in photos since entering blog land.

I bought the Wii Fit and yesterday it told me to lay off the afternoon snacks?! How does it know?

Recap

This weekend consisted of:

1 Tball game canceled, but only 15 minutes before hand, when the coach said to be there 45 min early
2 Mothers Day dinner at Olive Garden
3 Me and a friend shopping in the "city" while the boys went to see Star Trek


And the past two days?

Got a call at work to pick up Bean from school and we are home together today....But I have been able to sweep, mop, deep clean bathroom, 2 loads of laundry, bake banana bread


The semester is finally over...100s on both finals and As in both classes! I just have Biology and Algebra and I'm done!

Kidnapped

My camera was kidnapped by a friend to take pictures of her husband deploying so the pictures I promised will be a little late...

This weekend is wide open so far...tonite N has a softball game and before that is Bean's first Tball game. He is so excited and loves his uniform because it comes with a hat!

We have nothing planned and I am excited, hopefully, do a little cleaning inside and out and just havea lazy couple of days.

N and I are talking about going here for Memorial Day weekend; looks like the kids would have a blast!
