Crazy!

That's where our house is at right now!  We have been snowed in for 3 days...N actually went to work today, I was able to stay home with the kids as they are out of school.  It's all ice and snow, snow and ice out there.  On the plus side, we have cleaned the house, got a few things done on my to do list and I'm about to knock out some Math homework as well.

I am already 80% packed for my trip to Vegas (next week!) too....on the ball I tell you!  Bean's game was canceled for snow and rescheduled for tonight, we shall see if that holds up!  I am itching to get into town, I need (ahem) to get a pedicure and for sure my eyebrows made back into 2 instead of 1.

I am on day 3 of the 11 day diet, yesterday was said to be the hardest and it was!  Only a deli meat sandwich and fruit.  ALL DAY.  I almost broke down, but didn't...I even didn't have any chocolate cake at a birthday party we walked to for our neighbor!

I also have done 2 straight days of my Wii fit....go me.  Staying home and not being able to do anything really motivates you to do things!

This and That

So, the movie was good...the kids liked it so much that we had to keep until tomorrow so they could watch it again tonite.  Saturday, while I had fun with A, the shopping wasn't so good.  Comically, I found something in the stores near me!  Seems to always happen that way.  Sunday we went to church, Cat had a birthday party and then we just hung out at home.

Monday night was bball practice, tonight I need to take my first Math test of the class (fingers crossed!), Wed is bball practice again, Friday, N and I are going on date nite to hunt down these shoes I saw...what a guy!  Saturday is bball game and craft day at Michaels that Cat wants to go to.

Funny story; I was taking the kids to school today, because for the life of her the bus driver can't decide what time she wants to come to the bus stop and Bean said, " We have to fly on Southwest, because bags are free and you save $100 dollars."  Ummm...maybe someone is watching a little bit too much TV...ya think?

Weekend Recap

Friday

Bean's first game of the season!  Tigers won 12-2, he had a great defense move and may have just carried the ball down to the other end of the court, who needs dribbling anyways?!

After the game, we went and bought our local Target out...seriously, we got some great deals on stuff, but man, even my credit card was smokin after that swipe!

Saturday

We hung around the house, cleaning, me doing Math homework and just sticking around as our friends were leaving the next day and we wanted to be available if they needed anything.  I got some more time with my 2nd favorite N, and we took him to dinner and hung out.  They ended up spending the night and it was a very full, but glad it was house!

Sunday

They left that morning, and I boo hooed all day long.  N stepped up the plate with breakfast in bed and let me have a in bed morning...very, very nice.  I did end up cleaning more of the garage, but I was still sad most of the day.  I got the 4 girls in our little neighborhood gang matching bracelets that said Friends on them.  Hopefully the bracelets will all be in the same place one day!

Monday

Up from 1am-5am with sick Bean.  Poor guy, threw up every hour.  Since today was a holiday, N was home with him while I went to work.  I ended up taking him to the Dr tonight and they said it's just a virus that is going around.  He hasn't thrown up in 7 hours so that is good (TMI, sorry).  N is staying home with him in the morning and I am taking a half day just to make sure he is good to go.

I am studying for Math, first test next week, trying to keep cleaning a little bit at a time (listed a couple of things on Craigslist...hoping it's fruitful!) and keeping myself busy so I can't get sad..not working, but I'm trying!

Hello, my name is Suzanne and I have a blog. I have not visited said blog in awhile...all my preparation for the season wasn't quite enough and the blog fell to the way side.

Recap Time!!

We celebrated Bean's birthday at Chuck E Cheese in November...

Had Thanksgiving at my in-laws and me, Cat and my mom in law went to NYC! Had fun with shopping and taking Cat the see some sights, even got a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty!

What you don't see in the pictures is the drive home which was double the usual travel time, the rude Wendy's employee (excuse me for asking for it to go!) and Cat with a cough and started tears in M&M's world.

This week has been non stop as well; Mon was class (almost done!), Tues was a banquet for N's work, last night was TSO with our good friends...

I am trying to get my Christmas cards out this week, all presents have been bought, wrapped and shipped and we have another adventure coming up. Next week is N's Christmas party as well.

Weekend Recap!

Let's see; Friday was grocery shopping day.....cue happy kids...NOT! But they know we were out of little bites, cereal...you know all the essentials. I also may have over stressed the fact that we were getting Bean's birthday cake supplies...whatever works I say!

Saturday, I got my hair done...dark, like black! and then I went to pick out my outfit for the fashion show coming up next Sunday and Sunday we went to Sunday brunch (tell me how you spencd $30 when you have a B0G0 coupon!) and they we went to Sam's, got some comfy blankets and back home. Then took Cat to a bday party, Target to look for some boots and then got my bathrooms clean! Weekend goal met.

This week I have school stuff to take care of, get donuts for Bean's class, bake cupcakes and the cake, get a pedicure (mom treat!), maintain the house, maybe actually cook a few dinners!

Catch up

Things are definately in the swing around here....lots going on, lots to do!

This weekend we went to N's parents for Halloween and hung out with them and N's friend from high school and his family at the Ranch.

Bean was Optimus Prime and Cat was Hannah Montana

There was a maizefest at the Ranch; lots for the kids to do. Ride horses, face paint, playground, play in corn

Bean was able to lead us out of the maize and I got my funnel cake on!

I have next week off of class, which will be nice as I have about 156,863 things to do! Beans birthday party is next week, I have a fashion show after that, new classes to register for (Math and Astronomy!), packages to get sent out, clean the house...etc.

Man...its been awhile.

Lets see a quick recap.

Went to IHOP and shopping last Friday with N, which was nice until we got a call from the teacher saying Bean was sick....so, N picked him up and I went grocery shoppin. N's parents came in on Saturday, I had left to go shopping in the big city before meeting everyone met at the fair for the day.

Went to the fair, cold, wet and rainy. I may or may have not tried; chocolate covered bacon, deep fried pickels, deep fried snickers bar, candy apple, fudge, Pappy's Old Fashion Soda...I do have some pics to put up from the other camera. After the fair, we went to dinner and saw Couples Retreat.

Sunday we went to Cracker Barrel...love that place. Bean finally felt better this week. Today is dress up like what you want to be when you grow up at your school day....

(Dont ask how much it cost to overnight....I mean really....there's your college educaiton kid!)

Last night we were looking for one more piece for Cats costume (Hannah Montana) and we ran into JCP, and they were having a great sale. Got her church dresses that she badly needed and found a shirt for $2....little did I know about this shirt and her. It's like long lost sisters that have found each other again. She wants to never take it off, wants to frame it on her wall or carry it in her purse when she's too big and then she said he wants to be buried with it....are you ready??

Yep..that's it!

This and that...

I was waiting to do an update until I got some pictures from Amanda from my birthday dinner....but haven't got them yet (hint, hint) and I didn't want to lose my 3 readers even though they are family....they hafta read my blog!

Saturday, me and Amanda went shopping, not too much to be found, don't get me wrong, I found a sweater dress and rockin heels, but the itch is not scratched yet. N and I took Friday off, so I am hoping to convince him to take me to the outlets after Ihop! The fair is on Saturday in the big city, so I may be able to sneak a mall visit in that morning as well...I'm ruthless, I know.

The bean got in trouble for holding hands on the bus with a girl....it's very hard to discipline him when is Dad is beaming ear to ear....I mean really.

Cat wasn't feeling good the other day and I was giving her medicine and in her best Scarlett O'hara voice was saying, "I'm not going to live," "It's my last breath!"...Drama much there kiddo?

It's freezin here, I get my Math test results back tonite and cleaning (and/or shopping) on Friday for the in-laws!

It's the Cure all I say!

So I got a cold this week and this is what I picked up to cure it...

Guess which one worked? Of course the chocolate! I should've tried that first! I am all better now. This weekend N will be gone for a Ravens game, so its just me and the kiddos. I am thinking of taking them to see Toy Story/Toy Story 2 in 3D and I have a Math test next week, so I will be studying for that.

Cat wrote a story about me that I will have to post; apparently I watch too much 90210!

Bean on the other hand has been trading xbox games with the neighbors that we didn't realize until his very helpful informative sister spilled the beans....kids!

October is shaping up to be busy; fair, movies, birthday celebrations; let the madness begin!

Doin what the sticker told her to do....

This weekend was a good one. Work has been a little too crazy for my taste, so I welcomed the weekend. Saturday morning, I cleaned, cleaned and did more cleaning. Saturday evening we hung out at our friends house.

Today more cleaning, even the car got involved. While the football game was on, so N was occupied and the kids took a nap, I went into town. Finished cleaning my car and even got a little shopping in!

Nothing too exciting going on this week, more math, work, housework and repeat.

She's a poet!

So the yard sale went good, we got rid a lot of stuff (main goal) and made a little cash as well.

Sunday we headed to another base so N could get some uniform things that we can't get down here and that night we went and celebrated a friends birthday at Outback. And now we come to the part where we see why I haven't been on here lately.

Bean woke up Monday morning early with a fever, and has been off and on every day since then. Needless to say, sleep is not coming easily. Nathan and I were able switch around hours, but it looks like tomorrow, I will have to take the whole day off.

I got my first Math test back and I got an A! Yea for me.

Cat has been making up "stories" as she calls them...here are a few:

Ramblings

My poor kids...so much for a diary of their lives.

"Dear Children, Mommy was very busy during the week of September 13, 2009 and that is why there is not much to tell you about what went on!"

I have one test and a book report and I will be done with my Bio class...I hope to squeez an A out of it, but we shall see. My first Math test was supposed to be last nite, but it was cancelled. So now I have to retain everything until Monday.

Ran a bunch of errands yesterday, got plastic bins to transfer stuff out of boxes in the garage for easier transporting and so it looks pretty! Only took 3 years.

This morning I went to get the kids up and Bean was in Cat's bed and I asked how that happened and Cat said, "We had a plan, after you and Daddy went to sleep, he came in bed with me because he was scared. I thought of it." You would never know she is first born would ya?!

Yesterday, I bought my new nephew 2 pairs of shoes...yes I am starting him early and sharing my love with him...say it with me...Best.Aunt.Ever!

This weekend, I will be finishing up Bio and working in the garage, (hopefully)

Stuff

So Math didn't go as well as I had hoped, I did jump another class, but I really wanted to do better. Oh well, I am now trying to get into a Math class that starts next week and Biology has started today...they've already warned us that since it is an intensive course to expect work on the 1st day, should be interesting!

Saturday we went to the Melting Pot. Great food and had fun, but there were 2 tables where the people were overly loud...we really didn't need to know that one of them farted...I mean really.

Sunday there was a birthday party and Beans first fishing adventure....he had a blast and even caught a fish! Pictures to come later...blogger won't let me put them on right now.

This week is Biology, Myrtle Beach and next week school starts back for the kids.....where did the Summer go?

Exposed

So tomorrow morning I am taking my friend to the airport at the late hour of 4am...good times I say. I'm lucky; our other friend is coming along to keep me company on the way back.

Friday morning is my Math test and I am hoping that I do well enough to test into the class that I've already signed up for! Monday, Biology starts as well. Saturday N and I have a double date to The Melting Pot...I love, love this place! I think it's been 1.5 years since I've been there and I'm excited to get back, we may even be wild after and see a movie or something!

Sunday, N is taking Bean fishing on base, which I know he will love, he always talks about wanting to go, so I am excited for him. Next week is Myrtle Beach weekend and then school officially starts...eek. Where does the time go??

Cat was taking videos of Bean last night with my phone and as I was reviewing them, I found out that she had been taking video of me in the dressing room! Luckily I was just hanging clothes up, guess I better make sure no more of that! In one of the videos it's pretty funny because she is telling Bean that she wasn't taking a video, just messing around, when in fact she was....one smart cookie that one.

Full Disclsoure

Yesterday when I went to pick up Bean from his summer care, I was wearing heels, so I was a bit taller than my usual 6'. 2 children complemented me on my skirt and I knew it was coming....."your Mom is tall!","she's taller than my mom!", "she's taller than my Dad!", then my precious jewel of a son....."and she's 30!"

Thank you, thank you very much.

Today I have a my hot lunch date and we may go to the beach tomorrow. I got a new camera, and have been practicing, I will have to post some of them.

Wow

Been a whole week since I last wrote! This past weekend, our friend came down from Baltimore, so we hung out all weekend. Saturday, we did the pool thing and played Rock Band that night, Sunday we took lunch to N at work, then played Wii, Apples to Apples and ordered pizza.

Had 2 snow cones as well over the weekend and they were delish....one w/ cream and the other with marshmellow. I like the ice at the place with cream, but wish they had marshmellow.

Bean told me last night that the reason he talks when I tell him to go to bed is because he can't breathe if he isn't talking....hmmm. His teacher told me yesterday that he is so well behaved with great manners and just a great kid during the day! For which I am glad, but maybe he runs out of all of that when I get him?!

Not much this week, working and cleaning.

2 weeks is another VBS at the church we have been attending for a little while, this one goes until 9pm, so we shall see how long the kids hold out.

In August we are planning to go the Myrtle Beach and I start my classes and take my placement test for Math...bleh!

What a week!

VBS went good; pulled the kids out one night because it seems the late hour they get out and then they still have to get up early, they get grumpy. Bean even fell asleep at dinner one night!

Friday night I went to see the Proposal with my friends and today I got my hair done, cleaned up the house and now I'm about to watch Changeling.

Tomorrow we are meeting up with N's friend from Tech School and his wife and two kids at Cracker Barrel....love me some Sunday chicken!

Cat said something funny the other day.......she said that during her Field Day at school, her and her friends smelled each other's towels to see what their houses smells like...ours came back as beach. I guess that ok...right?

Bean wrote himself a check for $100 for lunch money....on.a.real.check! We are saving it, but man, the kids knows how to fill out a check at 6!

This week we are headed back to the dentist so Bean can get sealants...then Thursday we are off to Ocean City!

Slackin'

Its been somewhat busy here, hence no new posts (sorry, Mom!).

Let's see; Monday night was the No Doubt concert in the big city....went with our friends and had fun, one of the not so much as she got a speeding ticket, but she still had fun!










Tuesday, I went to Urgent Care to get a rash checked out and I am now on Steroids for 5 days to see if that clears it up, if not, the Dr. said it will go away....in about 6-12 weeks! I'm going to Ocean City for 4th of July and do NOT want to be all spotted leopard like. Medicine is giving me crazy dreams as well. 3 more days to go.

Wednesday was the kids' last day of school...can't believe another year has gone by. I feel like Bean is really growing up before me. For some reason, I'm noticing his little steps more than Cat. I think she just woke up and was a little person! We went to N's playoff softball game, he didn't win, but we still were glad we were able to see him play.

Today, we are just hanging out. I think I'm going to make a Coconut Pie soon. Saturday is our neighbor's dogs birthday party...also the 3 year anniversary of us meeting our awesome neighbors...don't know what we would do without them!

Side Note; We also have had ants....so that's been fun cleaning up and trying to keep them at bay.

Coming up is hair appointment, rug cleaning, Keith Urban concert, dentist, OC in July, me and my friends are checking out a shopping mall none of us has been too as well. (They of course had to twist my arm!)

It's a crazy, beautiful life!

Tball, Awards and Summer

Saturday morning was Beans last game of the season...he was excited because he got to be the catcher for an inning; all the kids seem to fight over that position. He had a great time and now is asking (over and over) to play football. I still don't know about that just yet.



Friday was his awards ceremony at school. He got Honor Roll, Citizenship award, 100 book club award and First Place in Art that also had his picture published in a book of all the winners for the county. Very exciting. He also led the pledge of allegiance.





This week is the last week of school for the kids. I have Cat's awards ceremony on Monday, concert Monday night and I am still plugging away at Math. N and I are supposed to have a tutoring session today to help me learn this stuff.

We are hoping to get to Myrtle Beach soon and Ocean City for 4th of July...
