Things I am thankful for....humorous holiday edition
2. That I had extra Christmas cards laying around as I got an unexpected one today...although I did not check off to whom I sent Christmas cards to; so it's a grab bag to see who ends up with one, two or none!
3. That I have 3 Math classes left until a break; a short one, but a break nonetheless
4. That the kids enjoy the little neighborhood errands I send them on....without knowing the reason I do it is to have 5 more minutes of peace and they achieve some sort of exercise
5. That the kids' bus driver has not scratched us off as one of her stops, as the kids; may or may not have to run outside just in the nick of time to catch her every.single.morning....hopefully the Starbuck's gift card at Christmas will make up for it
6. That I was able to eat at IHOP twice this past weekend and not gain an ounce...it's true!
Eggnog pancakes and Pumpkin pancakes are awesome
7. That I was able to locate a new lip product that I have been on the hunt for....it's the little things I tell you...bought 2 to try...$3 a pop and seem to be in every magazine I read
This week we have N's Christmas party (fashion show dress to make an appearance) and a surprise going away,

Jeepers!
(Dont ask how much it cost to overnight....I mean really....there's your college educaiton kid!)
Last night we were looking for one more piece for Cats costume (Hannah Montana) and we ran into JCP, and they were having a great sale. Got her church dresses that she badly needed and found a shirt for $2....little did I know about this shirt and her. It's like long lost sisters that have found each other again. She wants to never take it off, wants to frame it on her wall or carry it in her purse when she's too big and then she said he wants to be buried with it....are you ready??
Yep..that's it!
We are on road trip this weekend, will be back with Halloween Pics!

This and that...
Saturday, me and Amanda went shopping, not too much to be found, don't get me wrong, I found a sweater dress and rockin heels, but the itch is not scratched yet. N and I took Friday off, so I am hoping to convince him to take me to the outlets after Ihop! The fair is on Saturday in the big city, so I may be able to sneak a mall visit in that morning as well...I'm ruthless, I know.
The bean got in trouble for holding hands on the bus with a girl....it's very hard to discipline him when is Dad is beaming ear to ear....I mean really.
Cat wasn't feeling good the other day and I was giving her medicine and in her best Scarlett O'hara voice was saying, "I'm not going to live," "It's my last breath!"...Drama much there kiddo?
It's freezin here, I get my Math test results back tonite and cleaning (and/or shopping) on Friday for the in-laws!
Until next time,

Ummm...ok I think?
She asked if she needed to be baptized to go to heaven and I told herabout that and about what she does need to do to go to heaven. I askedher if she wanted to talk about it tonight and she said yes, whilewatching tv, because "TV is the most important thing in my life". I kid you not.
Don't know if that is a good conversation or one I should be worried about. Let me tell you; she's been throwing all sort of things out there lately.
I finished my second Math test yesterday and woke up at 2:30am and realized I forgot a negative sign...geeze. Saturday we are going to here; I've heard only good things about it. The Chef is from New York that moved back to be closer to her family.
Saturday morning, we are heading to the new Ihop that opened, then me and Amanda are off for shopping!
Next weekend, we are going to the state fair...funnel cake, deep fried banana split, chocolate covered bacon, candy apple; all await me! I think I have convinced our gang to get a old time photo before everyone ups and leaves too.

Weekend
So this weekend was mostly uneventful; but good. Saturday after doing some morning cleaning, I took the kids to see Toy Story/Toy Story 2 in 3D.
Today, we went to church, grocery shopping, I caught up on all my taped shows, read the new Grisham book and about to start studying for my Math test on Wednesday.
I got a new little memo board for the kitchen and have been writing what dinner is for the night on it and Cat decided to add in her two cents...
On tap for this week; work, class, maybe celebrate a birthday ;)
Until next time,

It's the Cure all I say!
Guess which one worked? Of course the chocolate! I should've tried that first! I am all better now. This weekend N will be gone for a Ravens game, so its just me and the kiddos. I am thinking of taking them to see Toy Story/Toy Story 2 in 3D and I have a Math test next week, so I will be studying for that.
Cat wrote a story about me that I will have to post; apparently I watch too much 90210!
Bean on the other hand has been trading xbox games with the neighbors that we didn't realize until his very helpful informative sister spilled the beans....kids!
October is shaping up to be busy; fair, movies, birthday celebrations; let the madness begin!
Until next time,

Doin what the sticker told her to do....
Today more cleaning, even the car got involved. While the football game was on, so N was occupied and the kids took a nap, I went into town. Finished cleaning my car and even got a little shopping in!
Nothing too exciting going on this week, more math, work, housework and repeat.
Cat was eating a banana and followed the directions...
Bean displayed his new pjs...
and we even have fall decorations....courtesy of the Cat.

She's a poet!
Sunday we headed to another base so N could get some uniform things that we can't get down here and that night we went and celebrated a friends birthday at Outback. And now we come to the part where we see why I haven't been on here lately.
Bean woke up Monday morning early with a fever, and has been off and on every day since then. Needless to say, sleep is not coming easily. Nathan and I were able switch around hours, but it looks like tomorrow, I will have to take the whole day off.
I got my first Math test back and I got an A! Yea for me.
Cat has been making up "stories" as she calls them...here are a few:
My Brother
My brother is very bad sometimes. He is a tattletale. He is crazy like me.
Fun
Me and my brother have lots of fun mostly everyday. I laugh a lot at him.
Funny girl, Funny girl
Here is a picture I took when I asked her to pack her lunch:
Geeze, like Cheese It's much?
And here is Bean's creation he bought at the yard sale....

I told you so....
Biology is done, done, done! I think I got a 88%, teacher has not confirmed that for me yet, shoot, I was lucky to get out of there with a passing grade I think. Math is going....still have 3 months left in that one.
This Saturday we are participating in a base community sale. Purge, purge, purge! I straightened up 2 corners of the garage today...only 99% more to go!
Not much else going on, just same ol, same ol!
Until Next time,

Ramblings
"Dear Children, Mommy was very busy during the week of September 13, 2009 and that is why there is not much to tell you about what went on!"
I have one test and a book report and I will be done with my Bio class...I hope to squeez an A out of it, but we shall see. My first Math test was supposed to be last nite, but it was cancelled. So now I have to retain everything until Monday.
Ran a bunch of errands yesterday, got plastic bins to transfer stuff out of boxes in the garage for easier transporting and so it looks pretty! Only took 3 years.
This morning I went to get the kids up and Bean was in Cat's bed and I asked how that happened and Cat said, "We had a plan, after you and Daddy went to sleep, he came in bed with me because he was scared. I thought of it." You would never know she is first born would ya?!
Yesterday, I bought my new nephew 2 pairs of shoes...yes I am starting him early and sharing my love with him...say it with me...Best.Aunt.Ever!
This weekend, I will be finishing up Bio and working in the garage, (hopefully)
I also need to get some pics on here!
Until Next time,

American Reaction___________________________________
"Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror. The pictures of airplanes flying into buildings, fires burning, huge structures collapsing, have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness and a quiet, unyielding anger.--George W. Bush
War has been waged against us by stealth and deceit and murder. This nation is peaceful, but fierce when stirred to anger. This conflict was begun on the timing and terms of others. It will end in a way, and at an hour, of our choosing. --George W. Bush, Speech at National Cathedral, September 14, 2001
How do I respond when I see that in some Islamic countries there is vitriolic hatred for America? I'll tell you how I respond: I'm amazed. I'm amazed that there is such misunderstanding of what our country is about, that people would hate us. I am, I am -- like most Americans, I just can't believe it. Because I know how good we are, and we've go to do a better job of making our case. We've got to do a better job of explaining to the people in the Middle East, for example, that we don't fight a war against Islam or Muslims. We don't hold any religion accountable. We're fighting evil. And these murderers have hijacked a great religion in order to justify their evil deeds. And we cannot let it stand. --George W. Bush, press conference
It will not be quick and it will not be easy. Our adversaries are not one or two terrorist leaders, or even a single terrorist organization or network. It's a broad network of individuals and organizations that are determined to terrorize and, in so doing, to deny us the very essence of what we are: free people. They don't live in Antarctica. They work, they train and they plan in countries. They're benefiting from the support of governments. They're benefiting from the support of non-governmental organizations that are either actively supporting them with money, intelligence and weapons or allowing them to function on their territory and tolerating if not encouraging their activities. In either case, it has to stop. We'll have to deal with the networks. One of the ways to do that is to drain the swamp they live in. And that means dealing not only with the terrorists, but those who harbor terrorists. This will take a long, sustained effort. It will require the support of the American people as well as our friends and allies around the world. --Donald Rumsfeld, Press Briefing, September 18, 2001
As the representatives of the people we are here to declare that our resolve has not been weakened by these horrific and cowardly acts.--Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle
We're going to find out who did this and we're going after the bastards.--Sen. Orrin Hatch
"I fully support President Bush's decision to strike Al Qaeda's terrorist network. Now more than ever, we must stand united as a nation and support our President and our military. It is important to remember that this carefully targeted response is not an attack on a religion, nor a nation, but an attack on terrorism. In Congress, we will continue to work with the White House to do what's needed to bring justice to those who committed the heinous and evil attacks of September 11." --Tom Harkin
"The planes were hijacked, the buildings fell, and thousands of lives were lost nearly a thousand miles from here. But the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were an attack on the heart of America. And standing here in the heartland of America, we say in one voice We will not give in to terrorists; We will not rest until they are found and defeated; We will win this struggle not for glory, nor wealth, nor power, but for justice, for freedom, and for peace; So help us God." --Tom Harkin
"You can be sure that the American spirit will prevail over this tragedy." --Colin Powell
A few months ago, and again this week, bin Laden publicly vowed to publicly wage a terrorist war against America, saying, and I quote, "We do not differentiate between those dressed in military uniforms and civilians. They're all targets." Their mission is murder, and their history is bloody. --then President Bill Clinton
"All of a sudden there were people screaming. I saw people jumping out of the building. Their arms were flailing. I stopped taking pictures and started crying." --Michael Walters, a free-lance photo journalist in Manhattan.
"The city is going to survive, we are going to get through it, It's going to be very, very difficult time. I don't think we yet know the pain that we're going to feel when we find out who we lost, but the thing we have to focus on now is getting this city through this, and surviving and being stronger for it." --Rudolph Giuliani
International Reaction___________________________________
The full horror of what has happened in the United States earlier today is now becoming clearer. It is hard even to contemplate the utter carnage and terror which has engulfed so many innocent people. We've offered President Bush and the American people our solidarity, our profound sympathy, and our prayers. But it is plain that citizens of many countries round the world, including Britain, will have been caught up in this terror. --British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Interview, September 11, 2001.
So what do we do?Don't overreact some say. We aren't.We haven't lashed out. No missiles on the first night just for effect.Don't kill innocent people. We are not the ones who waged war on the innocent. We seek the guilty.Look for a diplomatic solution. There is no diplomacy with Bin Laden or the Taliban regime. State an ultimatum and get their response. We stated the ultimatum; they haven't responded. Understand the causes of terror. Yes, we should try, but let there be no moral ambiguity about this: nothing could ever justify the events of 11 September, and it is to turn justice on its head to pretend it could. The action we take will be proportionate; targeted; we will do all we humanly can to avoid civilian casualties. But understand what we are dealing with. Listen to the calls of those passengers on the planes. Think of the children on them, told they were going to die. Think of the cruelty beyond our comprehension as amongst the screams and the anguish of the innocent, those hijackers drove at full throttle planes laden with fuel into buildings where tens of thousands worked. They have no moral inhibition on the slaughter of the innocent. If they could have murdered not 7,000 but 70,000 does anyone doubt they would have done so and rejoiced in it? There is no compromise possible with such people, no meeting of minds, no point of understanding with such terror.Just a choice: defeat it or be defeated by it. And defeat it we must.--British Prime Minister Tony Blair
Any action taken will be against the terrorist network of Bin Laden.... As for the Taleban, they can surrender the terrorists or face the consequences - and again in any action the aim will be to eliminate their military hardware, cut off their finances, disrupt their supplies, target their troops, not civilians.--British Prime Minister Tony Blair
We will put a trap around the regime and I say to the Taleban: Surrender the terrorists or surrender power. It's your choice.--British Prime Minister Tony Blair
America has its faults as a society, as we have ours. But I think of the Union of America born out of the defeat of slavery. I think of its Constitution, with its inalienable rights granted to every citizen still a model for the world. I think of a black man, born in poverty, who became chief of their armed forces and is now secretary of state Colin Powell and I wonder frankly whether such a thing could have happened here. I think of the Statue of Liberty and how many refugees, migrants and the impoverished passed its light and felt that if not for them, for their children, a new world could indeed be theirs. I think of a country where people who do well, don't have questions asked about their accent, their class, their beginnings but have admiration for what they have done and the success they've achieved. I think of those New Yorkers I met, still in shock, but resolute; the fire fighters and police, mourning their comrades but still head held high.--British Prime Minister Tony Blair
As for those that carried out these attacks there are no adequate words of condemnation. Their barbarism will stand as their shame for all eternity.--British Prime Minister Tony Blair
It is with enormous distress that France has just learned of the monstrous attacksthere is no other word for itthat have just struck the United States of America. In these horrifying circumstances, the entire people of France, and I want to emphasize this, stand by the people of America. They express their friendship and solidarity in this tragedy. Naturally, I want to assure President Bush of my total support. France, as you know, has always condemned and unreservedly condemns terrorism, and considers that terrorism must be combated by all possible means. --French President Jacques Chirac, September 11, 2001.
It was with horror that I learned of the abominable terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington in which so many innocent people have lost their lives. My government staunchly condemns these acts of terrorism. The German people are at the side of the United States of America in this difficult hour. I wish to express my deep-felt condolences and complete solidarity to you and the American people. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. --German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, September 11, 2001.
I was stricken by news and television pictures coming from the United States this morning. It is impossible to fully comprehend the evil that would have conjured up such a cowardly and depraved assault upon thousands of innocent people. There can be no cause or grievance that could ever justify such unspeakable violence. Indeed, such an attack is an assault not only on the targets but an offense against the freedom and rights of all civilized nations. --Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrtien , September 11, 2001
This morning we were notified about the horrible news of the series of terrorist attacks in the United States, that have left a great trail of destruction. Mexico expresses its condolences to the Government and the American people for the irreparable human losses. We also express our energetic condemnation to these attacks. I have informed President George Bush of our feelings of sorrow and our solidarity in such difficult moments. --Mexican President Vicente Fox, , September 11, 2001.
Shocked to learn of the serious attacks against certain areas in New York City and Washington D.C. on September 11, which caused horrendous casualty, I wish to express, on behalf of the Chinese Government and people, our deepest sympathy and solicitude to you and, through you, to the Government and people of the United States. I wish also to extend our condolences to the families of the victims. The Chinese Government has consistently condemned and rejected all forms of terrorist violence. --Chinese President Jiang Zemin, September 11, 2001.
The United States today faced an unprecedented act of aggression on the part of international terrorism. First of all, I express sincere and profound condolences to all the victims and the families of the dead. The event that occurred in the US today goes beyond national borders. It is a brazen challenge to the whole humanity, at least to civilized humanity. And what happened today is added proof of the relevance of the Russian proposal to pool the efforts of the international community in the struggle against terrorism, that plague of the 21st century. Russia knows at first hand what terrorism is. So, we understand as well as anyone the feelings of the American people. Addressing the people of the United States on behalf of Russia I would like to say that we are with you, we entirely and fully share and experience your pain. We support you. --Russian President Valdimir Putin, September 12, 2001.
We take it so close to heart because we all know what it is. Points of contention between the United States and Russia seem like minor disputes between neighbors that fade in the face of such great sorrow, which unites people.--Valentina Nikitina, Russian economist
The whole international community will be united in condemning what they have done.--Nato Secretary General Lord Robertson
Our eventual aim is simply stated - that there should be no safe haven for terrorists anywhere in the world. We say to the people of Afghanistan: 'You have been ill served by those who have made your country a centre for terrorism across the world. As soon as this stops, the world will work with you to build a better future for you and for your children.--Jack Straw, British foreign secretary
The cause of the attack was not American foreign policy but an amoral disregard for human life.It is grotesque to suggest that a four-year-old girl, making her first and only flight in an aeroplane, should somehow bear responsibility for the actions of a government for whom she was never allowed the chance to grow up and vote either for or against.--Menzies Campbell, British Liberal Democrat foreign affairs spokesman

I love it when this happens!
My devotion for today:
Einstein’s God
ODB RADIO: Listen Now DOWNLOAD: DownloadREAD: Psalm 19:1-6
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. —Psalm 19:1
When the great physicist Albert Einstein was asked if he believed in God, he responded: “We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. . . . That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human beings toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws.” Although Einstein marveled at the design he saw in nature, he did not believe in a personal Creator. The psalmist shared Einstein’s sense of awe about nature but took the next step and believed in the Designer behind the design: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork” (Ps. 19:1).
The wonder we feel as we behold our universe should serve as a road sign pointing to the One who created it. The Scriptures tell us, “All things were made through [Christ], and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:3).
Are you struggling in your beliefs? Look up at the stars tonight. In the sky is crafted an amazing road sign pointing to the Designer behind the design. —Dennis Fisher
God wrote His autograph Upon the sky last night, In the stars I never saw A signature so bright! —Schoeberlein
Creation’s design points to the Master Designer.

Bad Girl, very bad girl
Let's see Myrtle Beach was fun...did the beach, waterpark, Medieval Times (Cat cried, then got a flower; made it all better), Bean wants to be a knight now.
Quick Recap; someone may have put the wrong destination address in the GPS, rained both there and the way home, Bean locked my purse in the hotel safe, our room was over the indoor pool w/ loud kids, Hurricane Bill prevented us from swimming in the ocean, Bean told me he farted, then asked if I smelt it...all in all a great time!
Got back and school is in session...
I thought I started a Math class tonight, but nope it started yesterday! eek! I am going to call tomorrow and see if I can still be in the class; this is why I take online classes!
Cat has the teacher of the year from last year and Bean has Cats teacher, so we were excited about that. They both had good days; hope it continues.
Cat said something that made us laugh the other day, she was talking to one of her friends and she said, "Can I hang up now?" Too funny...I'm going to start using that one!
On tap for this week is hopefully my math class, I have a full day Bio lab on Saturday too.
N and I also joined the 20th century and got blackberries(y?)s...been messin around with it, avoiding homework!

All Play and a little work?
Cat got a hair cut for school; again I have to take pictures to post....she looks so old!
Tonight is Open House at the kids' school and tomorrow morning after I get one more textbook, Cat has her physical and we are off to the beach! Both Nathan and I have work to do while we're there, well I do, he has a draft...not sure if that is considered work. ;)
Will post lots of pictures when we get back!

Must be the lack of sleep...
On the way into work, the radio station is doing a contest; Koo Koo for Kenny Chesney tickets. For rows 1-5, you call a number and tell them what you would do for tickets. I carpool with my co worker and we were listening on the way in. Once at work we came up with the idea to spend the night in a funeral home or graveyard...sure enough I called it in, so we will see if it works!
I am beat, so I'm off to look over Math for one last time before I get some rest,

Exposed
Friday morning is my Math test and I am hoping that I do well enough to test into the class that I've already signed up for! Monday, Biology starts as well. Saturday N and I have a double date to The Melting Pot...I love, love this place! I think it's been 1.5 years since I've been there and I'm excited to get back, we may even be wild after and see a movie or something!
Sunday, N is taking Bean fishing on base, which I know he will love, he always talks about wanting to go, so I am excited for him. Next week is Myrtle Beach weekend and then school officially starts...eek. Where does the time go??
Cat was taking videos of Bean last night with my phone and as I was reviewing them, I found out that she had been taking video of me in the dressing room! Luckily I was just hanging clothes up, guess I better make sure no more of that! In one of the videos it's pretty funny because she is telling Bean that she wasn't taking a video, just messing around, when in fact she was....one smart cookie that one.
I'm off for some sleep and maybe quick math review,

Ironic? I think not
This mornings devotion was this:
GAD Or God?
ODB RADIO: Listen Now DOWNLOAD: DownloadREAD: 1 Peter 5:6-11
Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. —1 Peter 5:7
Are you a chronic worrier? Do you worry about bills, the future, health, debt, marriage issues? Has worry so consumed you that you have become “a fret machine”? If this describes you, perhaps you have generalized anxiety disorder, or GAD—a condition marked by a perpetual state of worry about most aspects of life. According to David Barlow, professor of psychology at Boston University, “the key psychological feature of GAD is a state of chronic, uncontrollable worry.” A little anxiety is normal, but constant worry is not.
Overwhelmed by suffering and persecution, the first-century Christians were driven out of Jerusalem and scattered throughout Asia (1 Peter 1:1-7). Many of these Jesus-followers were experiencing feelings of distress because of possible danger or misfortune. Peter encouraged these believers not to be filled with anxiety but to cast all their worries upon God (5:7). He wanted them to realize that it made very little sense for them to carry their worries when they could cast them on God who cared deeply about what happened to them.
Are you a chronic worrier? Let God be responsible for your anxieties. Stop worrying and start trusting Him completely. —Marvin Williams
When every worry, every careTo God in faith is brought,We have no place whereon to foundOne single anxious thought. —Anon.
Worry is a burden God never intended us to bear.
Wow! Was I ever grateful.....the big guy knew what I needed to hear.
(Now only if he can give me a mathematician brain before Friday, I would be set!)

Ready or Not
So if I make it through this week with my head on straight, it'll be a relief.
Saturday, I went into work for about 4 hours, then Cat was feeling a little better so we went out and took advantage of tax free weekend and got her some tennis shoes and clothes. Saturday night she was up from 12-4am coughing and I ended up on the couch with her. Sunday we took it easy and I went out a got an outfit for tomorrow. (A small perk!)
I'f off to do some things around the house before I get back to Math.

Friday Night
Our plan yesterday for tonight consisted of a date night of movie and dinner.
Our actual tonight? Cat is sick with a lower respiratory infection and N is sick as well. Boo.
I stayed home from work and cleaned a bathroom, vacuumed, made a cherry pie and banana bread. Tomorrow I'm going into work for a little bit and after I get Bean down, I'm working on Math. Next Friday is the placement test! eek.
Hopefully this weekend I will manage to hit some stores as it's tax free weekend! 2 more weekends until our trip to Myrtle Beach! We are staying here and we are pretty excited. Then the school year begins!

Friday night, the girls and I went to see The Ugly Truth and because we were all hungry, we bought the biggest bag of popcorn and the worlds largest drinks.....needless to say we could have feasted off of the popcorn for another 3 days! Good movie...predicable, but funny.
Saturday, we had wanted to go to the beach, but the weather was iffy, so we trekked to the closest Best Buy to us and had lunch with the neighborhood gang. It ended up not raining until later, so we could have gone to the beach!
Sunday, the weather was yukky again. N had to work, so the kids and I cleaned up and went swimming in a neighbors pool for a little while when there was a break in the weather.
About the ditch, I was trying to be a helpful wife and mow the lawn....the mower just stopped about 90% way through and wouldn't go forward/backward. So I was wheeling it back to the garage manually and I had the steering wheel turned and it started going in the ditch by our house....took some muscle, but I stopped in from going all the way it....thank goodness. So now because of my helpfullness, N has to figure out what I
Sharpie; I was washing N's uniform and I checked all the pants pockets for miscellanous and he was in charge of the shirts, got clothes out of dryer and sure enough...sharpie was left behind. Sharpies all over towels, pjs and luckily only 2 small spots on the uniform and oh yeah, all over the dryer, so now I'm on a mission to try to get it out as laundry is building up!
I have to post pictures of Cats pillow she made and proof she doesn't get to the Golden Arches much!

Been Awhile....
Last Weekend; Saturday was the big party with N and his crew. It went well, there were 2 tornadoes near us, but we played Wiffle Ball (and by we, I mean they), Apples to Apples and the Wii and then on Sunday, we had our neighbors over and even surprised the birthday girl w/a Cold Stone Cake!
This week at the new girl has started ...so far so good, I'm getting a half day on Friday and N and I are meeting for lunch since he is working nights this week and we see each other barely.
This weekend, my friends and I are going to see The Ugly Truth and I have some cleaning to do...blah.
Sorry so short! I'm pooped!

It's a snake! or not
This was my first view and I took it upon myself to announce to the family that we had a snake.
Then the animal specialist, errr, sound mind, N came to the resuce and found legs on such creature!
Honestly though, not a fan of these snake looking creatures...even Cat said that lizard was not a very pretty color.
On tap for the rest of the week; getting ready for a work party for N, although he tells me I don't have to lift a finger, I am a little crazy like helpful, so I am getting stuff for that and then next week is another VBS for the kids and a friends bday. We are going out to dinner Tuesday, then Friday to see The Ugly Truth and dinner while the men watch the kids...my goal is while the kids are at VBS next week to s.l.o.w.l.y clean the garage....anyone need a entertainment center? grill? blazer? I'm your gal!
I would like to wish my Mom a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY~ Love you! (What? You're turning 40!)

Out of the mouths of babes....
Conversation w/ Cat this morning
Cat-"Mom, you know how if you point your middle finger it's bad?"
Me-"Yes, why?"
Cat-"Is it bad to point my middle toe too?"
This morning it was foggy and Cat said, " Look it's froggy!"
I can't make this stuff up!
I am currently researching SLR cameras, I would like to get one soon, I'm becoming more interested in photos since entering blog land.
I bought the Wii Fit and yesterday it told me to lay off the afternoon snacks?! How does it know?

Nature Walk
There were 2 of them and they were awesome! Then on the way back in, I spotted this creature:
On tap for this weekend is sleeping in (yea!), birthday party for a neighbors daughter, church, maybe Kohls? and relaxing. I have to get back into Math practice before next month and we booked our Myrtle Beach weekend...
