I bought this and love it. It really does lengthen lashes, I have tiny, short ones and this really does make a difference. The best part? It's in the shape of a stiletto! I am 6' tall, but I still love high heeled shoes so I had to try this mascara out..I figured if it's in the shape of a heel it has to be great!

Project 365

Because I have been horrible for awhile about taking pictures, I ordered the Project 365 kit by Becky Higgins. It is a kit that came with everything you need to make a scrapbook of pictures from the year. I have it all ready for pictures and I am trying to take a picture a day. This is today's picture. Bean made this in Art at school and we got a note home saying it had been selected to go in the county wide publication of art from the students in all of the schools from our county. I asked him what it was and he said, "A chicken with baby chicks." N and I were pretty impressed; as it's usually his sister that is the artist.

It's raining and the lights are flickering, so I am going to try to finish up some homework while I still have power.

My 1st Post!

Hello all out there in bloggerland! I have decided to take the plunge and start a blog. I love to read other peoples blogs and especially like those who said they started to keep track of daily life for their children to one day look back on and read.

A little bit about me; my husband, "N" is in the AF and I have 2 children, my son "Bean" and my daughter "Cat". Both of my children are in school and I work part time in the legal field. I am able to be home with them when they get on the bus and when they get off. I am also working towards my degree in Criminal Justice mostly through online classes through the local college

2 years ago we moved to a country town after being in the big city for 8 or so years. I miss the big city sometimes, but it's not too bad out here. I love to shop, coach purses, read and do crafty things when I have the time.

I am not sure where this will take me or for how long I will do it; but I am always game for a new adventure....
